So far this year I have gained a massive amount of knowledge that pertains to architectural design and woodworking that has helped me make my projects look and work better. For example, I have learned to use a jointer, to make a piece of wood that may have imperfections, a smoother better piece of wood that can be better used in projects. This tool also allows for two pieces of wood to be glued together in a better more efficient manner. Aside from the jointer, I have also learned how to cut legs of a chair to have a sleeker, more pleasing look rather than just being bulky, ugly sticks that hold up a seat. Cutting the legs in this way not only makes the chair look better but cuts down on added weight which will help with moving the chair around once its completed.
